I spent the past week trying to buy my first NFT (and first non-HODL ETH). Buying ETH or NFT with credit card was declined on all my cards. Finally managed a Coinbase bank transfer, but turns out then you have to wait 7 days after you bought the ETH before you can actually send it. It arrived in my wallet 2 days ago…

… and then I placed my bid on the NFT I had salivated over. It was part of a collection which appears to be stock photos of guitars, but with a GIMP pencil art filter applied. None in the collection (or anything else by the minter) had ever sold. I place my bid ($50) and pay my gas fees ($2.50) and wait for 2 days…

… but no response. No way to contact the seller that I can figure. So I impatiently cancel my bid and impulse buy this guitar bunny, which seems to be part of a wholesome little business of drawing cute animals doing things. I am *shocked* by how much I still really want to buy that semi-formulaic GIMP pencil art…

… it has become the perfect PFP to me. It appears abandoned by its creator, and I could easily recreate it myself by photographing my guitar with my phone and editing in GIMP. But I *really* want the first one I found. I am surprised that you folks have tricked me into wanting this!!!
