🤓 Media: Sony plans to launch its own crypto exchange Sony is preparing to launch its own cryptocurrency exchange in Japan through the acquisition of local exchange WhaleFin. WhaleFin was renamed S.BLOX Co. The exact launch date of the S.BLOX crypto exchange has not been announced. WhaleFin was previously known as DeCurret. In 2022, it was acquired by market-making company Amber Group. In August 2023, the site was sold to a subsidiary of Sony.
