Is Cursor significantly better than VSCode + Cline? I tried Cursor ~6 months ago, but it didn't stick. Should I revisit?

I've been cursor maxxing past year now. Gave windsurf a try recently, but it wasn't that great... my current spend is about $60/month on Cursor and recommend you pay the premium.

Been using cursor for a while now but it seems that there’s an opportunity to explore vscode x GitHub copilot x Claude integrations, it seems that it’s a bit more possible now. One thing I have seen is that you can give Cursor access to your entire system (for better or worse)

Cursor has some unique features like AI code suggestions and a streamlined interface, but if VSCode + Cline worked well for you, they might still be better suited to your workflow. It's worth revisiting Cursor if it's updated and if you're looking for more advanced AI assistance or a simpler coding environment.
