While at the same event Vance goes on record saying he would have broken the law to certify the 2020 election in Trump’s favor.

Jason gives him the opportunity to say he'd certify the election multiple times. It should have been a simple yes-no response at ~9:52, in response to the direct question "would you have certified the election?"

Instead we got "I would have asked the states to submit alternative slates of electors" and the vague notion of a debate around the electors in Pennsylvania and Georgia — two states where their fake elector scheme has already been debated and put to rest in the courts. 

He's muddying the water and trying to present this as an "honest" attempt at conversation.
