What I need for my work as a dev (in order of importance) 1. Any PC (but MBP preferred) 2. Compiler/runtime, package manager, OSS ecosystem, docs 3. IDE & source control 4. Web2.0 (search, SO, Reddit, collaboration tools) 5. LLMs 6. Books I was surprised that LLMs came so low. What’s your list?
