The vitalism of Miró and Matisse explodes in Barcelona in an exhibition that highlights the reciprocal stimuli of both artists 💜 The exhibition, sponsored by the BBVA Foundation, chronologically follows the careers of Miró and Matisse, who, despite their apparently different pictorial conceptions (Surrealism and Fauvism), admired each other, and were good friends after Pierre Matisse, the painter's son, became Miró's dealer in 1934 (and was instrumental in the dissemination of his work in the United States). The journey through the life and work of both painters allows us to contemplate sensational works with the paintings and drawings of Matisse and Miró sparkling between them in a happy electrifying dance of colors and motifs. Photo by Massimiliano Minocri: A person contemplates 'Painting (the white glove)', 1925, by Miró, and 'View of Notre-Dame' (1914), by Matisse, at the exhibition at the Miró Foundation in Barcelona.

I was recently telling a friend about it. I didn't like Miró very much, but one day I entered the Museum of Fine Arts in Oviedo, I went up to the second floor by the stairs, and at the end of the corridor there was a Miró... Already from the stairs I could not stop looking at him and I kept walking to the end of the gallery without looking at other paintings to meet him. It was a mystical experience 😅 😍 😍 😍
