I’ll say whats on everyones mind. Will there ever be a farcaster official token?

No. I’m genuinely curious what people think a token should do.

Governance,monetizing good content, network fees for onchain actions, spam prevention(maybe staking to cast), off the top of my head. I know differnet third party developers have already found ways to solve most of these though

True their governance is off-chain. I agree with all you’ve said tbh

Not sure why a token solves any of those:

1. Governance — why do you need a token? Bitcoin and Ethereum don’t govern with tokens.

2. Good content — we pay rewards today with USDC.

3. We’ve reduced and continue reduce network fees since they hurt good user growth vs. prevent spam.
