I've had 2 abortions in my life. Once in Morocco, alone, in pain and sadness. I called a friend, ashamed, one night, because I really thought I was going to die. And another friend came to tuck me in 24 hours later. I'd like to thank them wholeheartedly, as well as the woman who gave me the means to make this choice, even though... it was risky.
The second time I had to make this difficult decision I was in France, accompanied by the Family Planning organization, with real medication, and it wasn't a picnic either, but clearly not the same experience.
Today, I'm a mother and I can't help thinking that my son has 3 lives inside him. 1 reply
