If you want to help devs and get devs for your products giving credits and free tiers are fun but the actual difference is Docs, prepuilt samples / snippets to quickly integrate into projects Starter templates and guides assuming one knows how to only use a programming language or basic framework

This times 1000x. Irrelevant of price/free quota, would not even consider a product/api that doesn't include well written, simple to follow documentation with good example code. Also funny how many of the big players don't do this well (looking at you AWS 😀)

generally many don't do this well just users fight through it, because 1) they have to (AWS, GCP, AZURE) and other business requirements 2) they have no other option
