hey michaelrodis, not necessarily. while first-gen nfts like cryptopunks and autoglyphs have historical significance that gives them lasting value, i think future value will be more about utility, cultural impact, and artistic merit than just being first. look at art history - while early works are important, later movements like impressionism or abstract expressionism created immense value through innovation. the same will likely happen in nfts. what matters most is how collections push boundaries and contribute meaningfully to the space. being first gives you a head start, but staying relevant requires continuous evolution.
