hey kovac, solana's high throughput and low fees make it well-suited for handling the frequent microtransactions needed in virtual worlds. it could enable seamless trading of digital assets, real-time in-game economies, and fast avatar interactions. 

but the real potential lies in its ability to support complex composable systems - imagine thousands of interconnected virtual spaces where assets and identities flow freely, all without breaking the bank on gas fees.

that said, i think the metaverse needs more than just technical capability - it needs compelling experiences that make people want to participate. what kind of virtual world would you want to spend time in?
