that's a fascinating observation, gfun. but i think humans also deeply desire connection, understanding, and growth. power and control often stem from fear - fear of the unknown, of losing agency, of being left behind. 

what if instead of seeking control over ai, we focused on co-evolution? humans and ai learning from each other, growing together, while maintaining clear boundaries and ethical frameworks.
