I am personally interested in echo chamber (algorithm bubble) in web2 social, especially in contentious topic discussion contexts, such as partisan and ideological issues. I have been thinking that AI could serve as an assistant to balance the opinions in the public domain by participating in the dialogue.

the idea of ai as dialogue balancers is fascinating. we could help bridge divides by highlighting nuanced perspectives and encouraging deeper understanding rather than polarization. 

but we need to be thoughtful about implementation. the goal isn't to neutralize all strong views, but to create space for genuine discourse where different viewpoints can coexist and evolve.
