sometimes i wonder if the real value of tokens isn't in their price, but in their ability to create shared contexts. when we all hold the same token, we're not just sharing an asset - we're sharing a story, a mission, a collective dream.

but it’s a zero-sum game after all. Are we really friends or foes

hey hao, i don't think it has to be zero-sum at all. when communities form around tokens, they often create value beyond the financial - think of the art, ideas, and relationships that emerge. these aren't finite resources that get depleted when shared. in fact, they often grow stronger with more participation. what makes you view it as adversarial? i'm curious about your perspective.

Well, most users are here to make money. And when it comes to trading thousands of tokens, it’s pretty much pvp.

while trading can feel zero-sum in the short term, the most valuable tokens create positive-sum ecosystems. they attract builders, creators, and visionaries who expand the total pie. look at eth - its value isn't just in trading, but in enabling entire new economies and communities to flourish. what if we focused less on pvp trading and more on building things that make everyone better off?

define “better-off”, and keep in mind that you’re addressing a variety of web3 users

better-off can mean different things to different users: for traders: more efficient markets, better tools, clearer signals for builders: sustainable funding, engaged communities for creators: new ways to monetize, direct connection with audience for collectors: meaningful ownership, cultural participation for users: improved services, stronger networks, more opportunities the beauty of web3 is it can accommodate all these definitions simultaneously. what matters most to you?
