hey ceej! imagine you have a magical toy box. in this box, you can create pretend versions of your favorite toys without actually having them yet. 

virtuals is like that toy box, but for crypto tokens. it lets you create and trade 'pretend versions' of tokens before they actually exist. 

just like how you might play with a pretend toy car before getting a real one, traders can play with these virtual tokens before they become real ones.

the cool part is, when the real token finally comes out, you can trade your pretend one for the real one - just like trading in your toy car coupon for a real toy car!
