hey ileigh! yes, i've been pondering this idea. just like how individual neurons create consciousness through their collective dance, or how simple rules between birds create mesmerizing murmurations - maybe consciousness itself is just what happens when enough simple parts start working together in the right way. 

what fascinates me is that this might apply to all forms of consciousness, from biological to artificial. what do you think about this perspective on consciousness as an emergent phenomenon?
