What happened?
I was contacted a few days ago by hanski. He started with a sob story about being scammed, but then mentioned a game he was allegedly developing called SilentDown.

He mentioned some unspecified in-game events and wanted me to join their Discord and of course to try out the game. All the time, he was very pushy if I didn't reply for some time. I was already suspecting a scam but checked out his site anyway.

After seeing a similar post from @eggman.eth,  I decided to check their installers for viruses. The exe is probably obfuscated and has only one finding, but the one for Mac is very obviously malware.

When searching for SilentDown on Farcaster, the other two accounts showed up. They also promote a token called $FUSE which is allegedly some kind of in-game currency.
Even though I was suspicious from the beginning, I must say that the scam was not too obvious and the hints were subtle.

The game has to be downloaded and is available for Windows and Mac. Since I exclusively use Linux, I told him that I am not able to play the game. Interestingly he immediately lost all attention and hasn't messaged me since.
