GM πŸ”† I will share some of my methods from time to time for educational purposes only. Today, here's how I approach my SFP (Swing Failure Pattern e.g., stop hunts or liquidity grabs): 1. Wait for the price to take the high (same with low): Observe a decrease in open interest (indicating shorts getting stopped) + new longs opening + high activity at the highs (e.g., a buying imbalance). 2. Wait for candle to close back within the local range: Look for trapped traders. The more trapped traders there are, the more potential resistance there is if the price reverses. Why? Because the shorts that entered at the highs will defend their positions, and the trapped longs will close their positions (selling) if the price comes back. Note: I always enter quickly in market. 3. Look for sells to show up: Compound on the change in market structure. Invalidation: Stop at the high (since the liquidity has already been taken). That's all from me, have a great day, fam'. πŸ”·
