It was the morning I was returning to my hometown for the first time in several years after graduating university. My mother called me, crying. It was to tell me that my father had passed away in his sleep. That day, I was supposed to go home to thank him for supporting me through graduation, but instead, it became his funeral. Even now, I regret not going home even one day earlier, wondering if I could have seen my father alive.

Hi fren. I'm not trying to deny the importance of visiting graves after someone has passed away, but I personally feel that visiting them once while they are still alive is more important than making sure to do it every year after they're gone.
