That’s definitely true. But even when the stories break into mainstream, seems a lot of people just don’t care.

Sadly true. Privacy is quite high up in the Maslow hierarchy of needs. I think privacy and ownership are co-related. Framing the discourse around ownership can be more fruitful I guess.
