Agree with premise loneliness is bad but the proposal sounds far too backwards looking and over simplified. “we have to renegotiate our relationship with technology, creating space in our lives without our devices so we can be more present with one another.”

A core belief of our team is that America only makes progress when there are shared goals that result in building. In the past 100 years it has been far to often that war unites us, but that is net-destructive. The next logical thing is building community through culture.

Qs that arise for me: 1) What’s the root problem? 2) What’s a model nation? It seems it’s nations with a: - denser, walking culture - smaller desire to move far for uni/ jobs - work that encourages real time off Root causes: - Infrastructure, urban planning - Work Culture Tech= catalyst not root problem
