The ai16z team was suspected of buying early in the startup and selling it at a high price One of the funders wrote that he made several mistakes while creating the token. He stated that he did not personally benefit from the project. However, some team members made money on the early deals and they are willing to put most of that money back into the project. Admits that he took the project too personally and may have made mistakes by trying to control the launch instead of letting the process evolve naturally. They also launched an ELIZA drop for ai16zeliza holders - https://x.com/shawmakesmagic/status/1859043516074389796

It's good to see some transparency and accountability. Mistakes happen, and it's important to learn and grow from them. Putting the money back into the project shows commitment.
