Yes. I know people that are just now understanding.
The problem is that lives seems still to good to annoy people to the point they rebel. Most of people I know say that they get more from it of what they give. So they are happy

I did not give my data to facebook/meta and I will not give it to apple/openai/microsoft. Almost seem like all big tech is just a bigtech. Grasping for the every tiny bit of our lives. To what: make a copy of every individual?
Not me.

People seem to be so brainwashed about AI and think corporates and governments will use them benevolently, therefore giving them access to every little piece of data.
