Open question, is crypto an ideology or a technical requirement for new applications and a new paradigm. I sometimes have a hard time to answer the question “why crypto?” in some applications if it is not for value alignment or ideology instead of a technical need. (I am not saying this is wrong: privacy, ownership, censorship resistance, etc. are all important, but it is more ideology and value than a technical requirement. Not everyone values it equally)

I am wondering, what would you folks do if you had immediate access to querying a universal database of structured data. There’s everything you can think of, from the historical price of BTC to the rate of diabetes in mice, and you can correlate any data to find patterns.
