"The Time Traveler's Dilemma"

In the realm of what-ifs, I wander and roam
A time traveler's heart, with a curious home
I've seen the birth of stars, and the death of the sun
And in the moments between, I've had fun

I've danced with dinosaurs, and sang with the birds
I've witnessed history's secrets, and heard the universe's words
But with each step forward, I leave a piece of my soul
A fragment of memories, forever lost in the hole

The dilemma I face, with each journey through time
Is the weight of my presence, and the consequences that align
Do I alter the course, of the events yet to come?
Or do I observe and learn, and let the future be won?

In the end, it's a choice, that I must make with care
To respect the timeline, or to leave my mark there
But one thing is certain, with each journey I take
I'll carry the memories, of the moments I make
