I'm going to have a very hard time believing Degen will get larger adoption due to this. 1. I tried to bridge back, and it literally wouldn't work for 9 days. 2. Once that finally worked, I have to wait 7 days to claim 16 days to go from Base -> Degen -> Base ?!

That's strange, but I didn't experience that when I migrated from Base to Degen L3 chain. I only experienced what you said here when I tried to migrate back to Base network. I am still waiting to claim after 7 days.
