+1 @betashop.eth. my "why FC": the loneliness crisis is real. people want to feel part of a community, more so than they want to be popular, that's actively engage with shared interests and experiences. but social media today offer too much media and not nearly enough social. as users feel more and more disconnected without a way to authentically connect, they instead turn to substacks, patreons, discords, podcast groups, and slacks. there they find what's missing from mainstream social media: high-quality content, meaningful engagement, opportunities for collaboration, and a sense of belonging. the issue is that these platforms are siloed and, as a result, the communities are fragmented with everyone forced to start from zero on each one. with farcaster, we only have to start from zero once β€” making it easier than ever to find and build content-rich, culture-driven communities that co-create together. with farcaster, you can get reach without sacrificing intimacy. is it time to move beyond crypto?

This is why I always try to build specific relationships that are beneficial to me and I can be beneficial to them as well. But I came here looking to learn very serious technical aspects of our industry and it turned out to be a app where business and pleasure mix a lot. This was disorienting at first, and I acted so goofy for so long because no1 wanted to take me seriously so I just gave you guys the side of me that appealed to the app. Not anymore. I have always been me but now Im ready to have to bigger more important conversations in hopes of building solid future relationships with like minded people. So what may have seemed spammy to you guys coming from me was just my way of showing my excitement to have a chance to converse, build and possibly in the future..work with. This is something thats ever evolving and we are all navigating it together.
