Francis Ford Coppola is a serial risk taker. Not all of them paid off, but that didn't stop him from going all in & refining his approach each time. Here he is in the early 80s. He had built a new studio & invested heavily in new tech, believing in its future potential. Here's his response when asked if he's reckless.

I'm starting idle.ventures as a tech/startup/crypto fund with zero capital. 
This could be a fucking disaster.
