I gather this might have been said when the Monad airdrop happened last week, but from a launch perspective, giving out credits to a platform that you can't even interact with yet was a poor choice. The testnet aspect was clever since people can't swap or dump it, but if you don't give people something to immediately do with it you've lost an otherwise active audience, along with a large amount of momentum. Attention moves so quickly in this space, it will be interesting to see who actually cares to interact with it when it's ready.
Would love to hear the Merkle team talk about what lessons they'd iterate on from this for their next collaboration.
