I really want to create a channel, so I'm bumping this to hopefully get some clarity @hellno.eth

sorry, missed this before! I've added some additional info for this form, because it was very confusing.

the URL can be anything, for example the herocast channel points to 'https://herocast.xyz'. Channels from Warpcast and others are pointing to onchain NFT contracts in a specific format  CAIP-19

The question remains: why do you need to point to a url at all?
