Words of appreciation for /slowcore-hq: This week most of my time has been occupied with family duties, which leaves me with very little time for casting. (I'm typing this cast in the early morning when I'm the only one awake, since that's the most reliable way for me to get a bit of uninterrupted time to gather my thoughts at the moment). I've bookmarked at least a dozen casts + discussion threads I'd like to return to later and comment on when I have more time for deep-dives. /slowcore-hq is my favorite channel for that. Elsewhere, I'm less likely to return to "old" threads to add new comments, even if the subject matter is evergreen. But sloth people welcome and encourage it. 🦥 💜

@adam-
I feel you on this. Especially re: family duties and capitalizing on the little amount of free time to get thoughts out. Curious to know your bookmarking workflow? Do you just check the bookmarks tab later, or do you save them another way in order to come back to them? (i.e screenshots, copy them over to a document...etc)

*nod* I've lived alone happily for 16 years and I go to great lengths to arrange the rest of my life around my writing habits. With extended family visits, it's so much more challenging to carve out writing time. Regarding workflow: usually I return to the bookmarks tab whenever I find myself with a stretch of time to think and respond without being interrupted. Sometimes I copy quotes from casts (+ links) into a Scrivener document sorted by topic. Then when I have time later on, I draft a response in Scrivener and paste it into a cast.
