There's a rising trend in crypto where VC backed companies feel the need to declare that their mission is to bring a BILLION people onchain. Please know that end users don't give a shit about this. Good marketing does not attempt to appeal to everyone, but targets those who are a great match for what you have to offer.

If an investor is willing to make their funding decision solely on the amount of users you have, ignoring everything else you are presenting in your deck, then the issue isn't the deck. That doesn't mean the right investor isn't out there to fund your vision if thats the route you choose to go

we as founders are often guilty of telling VC’s what we think they want to hear. I’d like to think no founder really thinks they are going to bring the next billion users online. Like TAM/Opportunity slides. In our deck we list 400K users but maybe that’s also why we don’t get funded.

if they only care about the users and not the product, red flag investor.
