Whether we call them channels or labels, I believe it's beneficial for Farcaster channels to function as collectives. Instead of focusing on growth hacking, memecoin farming, and content sharing, let's prioritize building communities. We need more tools and features that empower users to co-create.

I see community building happening here in two ways. Passive and active. 
A passive community is one that lets members take the reins and it more or less governs itself while staying on theme (i.e /july ) Active channels are guided via moderation & engage with participants (i.e /tabletop).

Which channels do you think are doing a good job at community building so far? I’ve been thinking a lot about this lately but have struggled to find many good examples because the incentives up in here have pushed ppl in the wrong direction I feel.
