Welcome to Farcaster. The Long Goodbye is one of my favourite films and immediately noticed your Elliot Gould avatar. While it make sense to talk about your legal/crypto experience here, I hope you'll also share your film takes as well.

It's interesting that Altman's take was such a departure from previous interpretations of Marlowe that you had an older generation despise Elliott Gould's take on him just for being different.

It’s funny too bc Gould apparently told him pre filming that he always wanted to play that guy and Altman responded “you are this guy”. He also said he thought they might have given him lung cancer with all the cigarettes smoked on the shoot. (That awesome car was also Gould’s own car!)
