There's really three Tarantino eras: Crime, kung fu & revisionist history. Death Proof is really the only outlier. To @kepano's point, Jackie Brown is extremely underrated & holds up incredibly well. Its also a masterclass in adaptation, as Tarantino was able to improve upon an already good book. Worth revisiting
