Starting to lean towards anyone can build a basic frontend with a basic server/database. Anything complex that requires systems to be managed and maintained are still the work of humans working with AI.

Thing is if you’re completely non technical… you don’t even KNOW when it’s wrong. Or where to look and you’re just relying on more LLMs.

🎯 experience is knowing how to effectively diagnose a problem. Having said that, as LLM benchmarks improve for coding, there’s a good chance they’ll code more effectively over time. Still, there’s still a gulf between sloppy code and effective code that someone with experience can better attest to

I think there is a delta between making meaningful apps and being able to spin up a piece of software. As some in the constant trenches, there is a lot going on to make things “just work”.
