We use threads as a Slack replacement. A REALLY big fan of its “forum” based organization - basically every post is a thread meant to facilitate targeted conversation around a certain topic. Super helpful for sharing and storing knowledge too! And a great way to brainstorm writing :-)

I think an interesting caveat would be: crypto doesn’t have a UX problem, yet. It’s hard to imagine email being as ubiquitous if everyone had to spin up a hosting server and exchange details of what should go before and after the @.
