So hard to spot who's a bot or just an engagement farmer (or combination) nowadays. The formula seems to be:

Anybody else dealing with mad bot activity? Wanted to highlight as it's seriously detrimental to UX.

Would it be possible to have Proof of Humanity instituted? Couple of ZK tools out there enabling so trustless sharing. Then we could have a toggle to only accept PoH accounts.

It feels like we're all building great things... which are only going to be co-opted by big institutions/companies once the regulation catches up. For example, would be great to trade stocks on Uniswap. But established brokers will be the ones who create this infra, as they're better placed.

Bot Era on FC has begun.

Much as I like to see followers going up, most of the new ones are bots. Anybody have any ideas on how to combat? Or what we can do ourselves?

I found /bot-or-not but seems pretty manual. How to make it hard for bots to follow you? Perhaps private accounts?

Channels are split between 'trending' and 'recent' tabs. This prioritises users with lots of followers, by default (perhaps unfairly) burying quality posts by smaller accounts. That's a shame.

Notification segmentation: Priority seems to be placed on "user x joined user y's space" in bid to get people to join channels. I don't think it's important enough for level of emphasis - people can look for spaces they find interesting or maybe add some kind of 'discover' feature/page like Spotify.
