The question now is why did the gas fees increase after the supposedly savings update. The gas fee have now increased by 3x

anyone with above 200 subscriptions was unable to claim consistently because it actually cost a lot more gas than we were charging in DEGEN. It now reflects the accurate price, since we have to break it into several transactions to get included in a block.

The gas has tripled it usually cost around 7-8 Degen to claim but it’s now 33 Degen

It’s not fair to the community that your update brought about this high charges

I have >20 subscribers in channel 

If this gas issue remains this way, users can’t get the best out of alfafrens because the gas is outrageous

The more subscriptions you have, the more "claim" is going to cost. This is because each claim has to be processed separately.

If you are subscribed to a lot of channels, it will be more expensive to claim the rewards. This hasn't changed (unless you have >200 subscriptions open)
