Pretty spicy attack, although not super likely. It would require an attacker having a DHCP server setup on the network. This is unlikely on a local network, but more possible on a public network. Yubikeys are severely underutilized. If you're at Farcon you should consider doing this. If you're not at Farcon you should consider just buying a Yubikey. They can be used as an alternate 2fa method so that if you lose your phone, you're not rekt. Level up your security game.

Vulnerability is due to ECDSA so other products are also affected. The first 9 bits of the ECDSA nonce use a 0, so it's a problem of reduced entropy. https://thehackernews.com/2024/04/widely-used-putty-ssh-client-found.html?m=1
