when you ask people to “hold”, you are asking them to have faith. 

imagine if a startup had no product, n you are working there. they ask you to “believe in something” without pumping out initiatives that naturally inspire you to hold faith.

This exactly. People buy and sell when they want. Holding your bag to prop someone else's up is unreasonable. The only shame that should be felt is if you sell and it moons. I know that shame. Lols.
