yup it’s a global scale poker play in a way anyway. just wanna have fun and dogfood @alfaca by becoming a trader myself since i don’t usually trade much need to learn the mindset of memecoin traders to build the playgound for them with @alfaca

like what you are doing. the mindset of a memecoin trader is simply the mindset of any young american without employment prospects that appeal to them. they grew up watching their parents pension plans ravaged by PE, watched Bush invade Iraq on lies, observed wall st run the country into a housing crisis & face zero consequences, felt brief hope under Obama before losing that as the basic dim future unfolded without intervention. More of the same with Trump, whether you supported or despised him it all led to covid anyway, everyone and their mom getting government checks, social isolation. that arc culminated in the appealing choice between two large scale conspiracies: coup or election fraud, and no matter which you choose four years later groceries were more expensive. even if none of this is true for *us individually* it sort of feels true. collapse, fall of institutions. equities up, but you don't have a 401k, vibes down.
