If p256 actually is compromised then Passkeys will hand control of the vast majority of accounts and retail crypto to the government. It is not acceptable that we do not know the source of the coefficients in the p256 curve.

Tyranny of defaults will be so powerful here. Wish Apple had pushed for a curve with no shadow of a doubt.
