I had a principle not to take money and gifts from men, but I was constantly being wiped on my feet. I decided that I didn't care what I was losing, I would be like my bitchy friends. Now I'm six months into a relationship with a guy who spends crazy money on me. I don't spend mine at all. He transfers me for everything: for a beautician, for a coach, for a cab, for a restaurant, even if I went alone. He gives me iPhones, Dysons, tickets to the sea. We haven't had s*x yet. I told him we wouldn't have sex until after the wedding. He brought a ring, it's not Cartier, but it'll do, it's about the same price.
