There is still no better very decentralized non-custodial way of swapping in and out of bitcoin, so the network has value to the greater ecosystem. Not apologizing for ThorFi tho, that was a failure and one that should have been obvious

Not completely. Lending def failed and there is some work to be done to fix the situation, but Thorchain swapping continues to be incredibly profitable
