Got mixed feelings about the Creator Economy hype.

Saying "Everyone is a creator!" is like saying, "Everyone is a basketball player." 

It's, of course true, but just like only a few players end up in the NBA, only a few creators end up making significant money online.

Perhaps it should just be seen as "now everyone can create", multimedia communication has been democratized.

I like this perspective! Barriers to creation are lower than ever, but it doesn't promise that what you create will earn you a living.
