@li re: vertically integrated/embedded markets, do you mean prediction markets that allow users across multiple front-ends (ex fc clients) to bet on the same market (ex maybe through frames?) 

Also - any thoughts on how to best balance between gambling vs truth-seeking markets?

yes that's right! pooled liquidity in the market, distributed betting front-ends

on the latter - i think that's a question that a founder has to answer for themselves through a/b testing and seeing what gets traction
