Every week, we celebrate projects achieving meaningful milestones. 

Here are this week’s highlights from projects funded by @OctantApp , @ensdomains , DeSci on @Gitcoin, @CeloPublicGoods & @PublicNouns.

1/ @agroforestdao (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/agroforestdao-gg21) ~ The round was successfully launched after a brief two-day delay and is now underway, featuring a matching pool of $3,500. It has been met with positive reception, with many Web3 apprentices who completed the AgroforestDAO Journey participating. This initiative marks their first experience building a Web3 community around their projects, fostering mutual support, hope, and responsibility.

One entry requirement was to commit to sharing milestones and updates over the next six months. By the final day of the round, it featured 14 projects, 261 donations, 29 unique donors, and $560 in donations.

2/ @desciers (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/the-desci-journals-1) ~ Marketing Campaign Launch:

On December 4, 2024, a marketing campaign began, featuring bi-weekly reels and short videos across Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, X, and LinkedIn. The six-month campaign aims to drive webinar participation, interact with users, and build a potential user list. 

DeSci Journals Version 3:
Version 3 introduces PDF-to-NFT conversion stored on IPFS via Piñata, enabling immutable ownership of scientific documents. Admins can create NFTs with Polygon-based smart contracts, allowing for scientific portfolios.
 
Digital Wallet Integration:
A secure MetaMask wallet interface and Google login system were implemented, opting out of Web3Auth for cost efficiency. Security testing was successfully completed.

3/ @gp_dev_guild (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/greenpill-dev-guild) ~ Charmverse Workspace Development:
The Dev Guild launched a public workspace centralizing resources for all branches, allowing easy navigation and access to materials.
GitHub Organization Structuring:
A GitHub organization with 20+ contributors was established, featuring a Story and Bug board, standardized templates, detailed README files, and a story point system for payments.
Monthly Twitter Spaces:
Six monthly Twitter Spaces spotlighted builders from diverse communities, with 15–25 participants per session, fostering growth and engagement.
Weekly Calls and Anniversary:
Weekly calls throughout 2024 culminated in an October anniversary celebration, with recordings made available from August onwards.
Impact Reef QA Testing:
QA testing identified and resolved bugs, preparing the project for the next testing phase.
KarmaGap Workshop:
A workshop provided hands-on training on KarmaGap’s features, helping attendees optimize their projects.

4/ @DeSciAsia (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/desci-asia) ~ The ENS Public Good Builder Grant has been officially approved, marking a significant milestone for the project.

5/ Endangered Tokens DAO: Endangered & Monumental Trees as ReFi Biodiversity Assets (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/endangered-tokens-dao-endangered--monumental-trees-as-refi-biodiversity-assets- ) ~ A groundbreaking reforestation initiative has been launched in collaboration with Alejandro, a dedicated landowner and founder of "Centro Regenerativo Los Maquis" in southern Chile. The project focuses on the Queule tree, a rare and endangered species that is challenging to grow, reproduce, and maintain. Employing an innovative reforestation technique, the team aims to study the growth patterns and care practices for Queules to develop scalable methods for reproducing this tree in more areas.
