Here are this week’s highlights from projects funded by @SeiNetwork, @Optimism & @Aura_Sci.

1/ @WCstud_io (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/nodelands) ~ The first major milestone for WhiteClooud Studio was achieved with the release of its inaugural episode on December 27th. This accomplishment marked a significant step forward for the studio.

Additionally, the studio successfully completed a 20-million gonad giveaway in collaboration with NZ, aimed at boosting their follower count. This initiative led to a remarkable increase in followers, from 120 to 500.

2/ @greateddydon (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/green-planet-conservation-initiative-1) ~ The Green Planet Conservation Initiative (GPCI) recently conducted several impactful events in Jos, Nigeria, focusing on climate change awareness and tree planting. These activities aimed to educate students, engage communities, and foster environmental conservation.

Key events included tree planting exercises at Government Secondary School Hwolshe, God's Way Comprehensive College, and several other schools. Students were trained in effective planting techniques, educated on the importance of afforestation, and introduced to identifying various tree species. The use of dMRV technology ensured accurate documentation of planted trees, and tree ambassadors were selected to promote long-term care.

These efforts not only empowered students and communities but also advanced GPCI's mission to combat climate change and inspire collective action for a greener, more sustainable future.

3/ @MesoReefDAO (https://gap.karmahq.xyz/project/mesoreefdao--regenerating-reef-conservation-with-desci-web3-tools) ~ In September 2024, the coral reef fish restoration program organized a field trip to the coral biobank at Xcaret Park, providing valuable insights into reef conservation efforts. Participants explored innovative approaches to marine restoration, with updates documented for ongoing research and collaboration.

By December 2024, Regen Reef prototypes were developed, alongside the activation of Reef Futures 2024 initiatives. These efforts focused on engaging DeSci (Decentralized Science) and coral reef restoration practitioners, emphasizing the integration of advanced techniques and knowledge-sharing to promote marine ecosystem resilience.
