It pains me to see him in the wheelchair (and on crutches, previously). The man never went easy on the weights. Never.

I was watching an interview a few days ago. His only regret is not pushing the 1000 lbs as a whole set.

His mindset is still locked on the fact that he didn't push his limits that one time.

Yeah, he literally said, "Yeah, buddy, I don't regret it; I would do it all over again."

The main reason he ended in a wheelchair was not self-propulsion, but multiple failed back surgeries that left him with severe nerve damage in his lower body.

that's just... insane... 

That said, I do hope people in BB do understand now that pushing hard all day every day, is not good for you. Sure, Ronnie will be remembered, I probably won't, but I'd rather not see more body builders in a wheelchair 10 years into the retirement
